Title:
MEASURING PROBE USED FOR DEBRIS FLOW DETECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3026197
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect in advance the occurrence of debris flow and exactly detect the occurrence, the occurrence range, the flowing direction and velocity of debris flow in the case of occurrence of debris flow.
SOLUTION: A debris flow detection system is placed by inserting measuring probes 3, 3, 3... transmitting data concerning placed position, direction, angle, etc., detected by various sensor and the direction and velocity of displacement at the moment when a specific acceleration is added into a plurality of measuring points in mountainside 1. With receivers of observation station 4 placed in a location apart from the measuring probes 3, 3, 3..., signal transmitted from each probe is received and the measured data of each measuring probe is recorded with a recording device. The information is indicated on a display 6a of a personal computer 6 and alarm is generated by an alarm device 7 when the displacement exceeds a predetermined value.
