Title:
MEASURING ROOM FOR FEEBLE MAGNETISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06335466
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize a SQUID(superconducting quantum interference device) magnetometer frame having the reduced vibration by fixing it with anchor bolts to the base frame of the magnetically shielded room, whereby the SQUID magnetometer frame includes a Dewar unit in which a SQUID element capable of detecting a feeble magnetism of brain is installed.

CONSTITUTION: A SQUID magnetometer frame comprises a magnetically shielded room 11 which is surrounded by a magnetic shielding panel 13, a SQUID frame 17 which supports a Dewar unit 15 including a SQUID element, and a horizontal prop 21 equipped with a couple of guide-rail 31. To a guide-rail 31, horizontally- shiftable unit 33 is installed and the unit 33 supports a rotary unit 35 to which a couple of vertical prop 37 is attached A couple of vertical prop 37 is connected to support a vertically-shiftable unit 43 which can move vertically, and a unit 43 is attached to a supporting device 45 which supports a Dewar unit 15. A vertical prop 19 of a SQUID frame 17 is fixed with anchor bolts to the base frame 29 on which magnetic shielding room 11 is installed.
