Title:
MEASURING VESSEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57135338
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
A measurement cell for measuring certain properties of particles suspended in a particle suspension according to the so-called "Coulter" principle is described. Particle suspension is briefly placed upstream of a measuring point inside a flow chamber into the envelope current, which tapers towards the measuring point in the current cross-section, of a conveying liquid. Here, the flow chamber is formed by a fit component which has an open passage. A reaction vessel which receives the particle suspension is sealingly inserted into this passage and has on an underside an opening from which the particle suspension flows directly into the envelope current.
