Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance amplification factor and reliability, by a method wherein two lever arms are connected to a base by an end of a piezoelectric element and fulcrums, and an acting element as an output terminal is provided at a beam clamped by other ends of the arms. CONSTITUTION:One end in the extending and contracting direction of the piezoelectric element 6 is fitted to the base 7, the other end is provided with means 8, 9 for transmitting the extension and contraction of the element 6, and the lever arms 10, 11 are connected to the means 8, 9. The arms 10, 11 are connected to the base 7 by the fulcrums 12, 13, and tip parts thereof support by clamping the beam 15 provided with a printing needle 14 as an acting element. Both ends of the beam 15 are provided with a displacement 18 in the axial direction, and is buckled in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction, resulting in the maximum displacement at a central part thereof. The beam 15 thrusts the needle 14 forward, thereby performing printing, thereafter the element 6 returns to its original length due to stoppage of impressing of a voltage, the lever arms 10, 11 are also returned, and the beam 15 is returned to an adjusting screw 16 functioning also as a back stopper.
