Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a mechanical compressor system in which a compressed gaseous conveyance medium is cooled to a process-compatible temperature with only a low energy demand and little additional expenditure for installation.
CONSTITUTION: A suction line 2 is connected to a first connecting port 11, and pressure lines 3, 5 are connected to a second connecting port 12. An after- cooler unit 7 consists of two separate chambers 71, 72 having at least one separating wall, the first chamber 71 is connected to the suction line 2, and the second chamber 72 is connected to the pressure lines 3, 5. At least one injection line 9 for injecting a liquid is opened into the suction line 2 upstream from the after-cooler unit 7 and/or in the after-cooler unit 7.
