Abstract:

To satisfy the reduction of the rotation stabilizing time, and the maintaining of sensitivity of a governor concurrently, by providing a diameter converting coil with the form winding while converting the coil diameter, to a governor spring to interlockingly connect a governor lever to a speed governing operation means.

A mechanical governor is formed by interlocking and connecting a governor lever to a speed governing operation means through a governor spring 4. In this case, the governor spring 4 is formed by providing a diameter converting coil 9 with the form winding the coil while converting the coil diameter, and it satisfies the reduction of the rotation stabilizing time and the sensitivity maintaining of the governor concurrently. And, to the governor spring 4, a constant minimum cylindrical coil 10 with the minimum coil diameter is provided, so as to increase the margine of extension of the governor spring 4. In this case, favorably, the coil diameter is formed in the form to reduce from the center part to both ends, and the minimum cylindrical coil part 10 is provided at one side end.
