PURPOSE: To stabilize output of an engine by improving a structure to support swinging shape fly weights with a weight holder.
CONSTITUTION: A weight holder 10 is fixed to a governor shaft 6 so as to be rotatable together. Radial bearings 35 are arranged between the support parts 14 of the weight holder 10 and the upstream parts 13 to be supported in the rotating direction among the two left and right parts 13 and 13 to be supported of fly weights 12. Inner rings 35a of the bearings 35 are push-pressed and fixed to the shoulder parts 38 of the support parts 14 by bolts 37, and the support parts 13 to be supported are fixed to outer rings 35b. Thereby, even when large centrifugal force acts on the fly weights 12, the upstream parts 13 to be supported are prevented from moving to the support parts 14. Thereby, the fly weights 12 are swung straight in the lengthwise direction of the weight holder 10, and are received by an original receiving point A of a stopping tool 27.
