When peripheral area of the curved glass 1 is cut with an industrial robot R using the mechanical hand, cutting point of the mechanical hand H is moved along cutting line forming track of the curved sheet glass 1 and simultaneously the cutting tool 40 is preferably inclined according to an angle of inclination in the curved radius direction of cutting line forming part 1a of the curved sheet glass 1.
