To ensure safety and improve convenience when closing a door.SOLUTION: The mechanical parking device includes a loading/unloading room 7 that performs at least one of entering and leaving a vehicle, an entrance/exit door 4 provided at the entrance/exit of the loading/unloading room 7, an internal reception unit that is provided in the loading/unloading room 7 and that accepts input information for closing the entrance/exit door 4, and a control device 40 which performs door closing processing for closing the entrance/exit door after the input information is accepted by the internal reception unit and it is confirmed that no one is in the loading/unloading room 7. The input information is information input by a user performing a predetermined operation on an input unit.
