Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking facility which can detect protrusion of a vehicle occurring after the vehicle is stopped at a loading/unloading room.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking facility includes: a loading/unloading room 12; a storage shelf provided at a lower floor than the loading/unloading room 12; movement means for moving a pallet between the loading/unloading room 12 and the storage shelf; and a first protrusion sensor which detects whether or not a vehicle placed on the pallet is protruding from a first protrusion detection region 148 when the pallet moves between the loading/unloading room 12 and the storage shelf.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
