To provide a compact mechanical press for performing operation at high speed and with high accuracy by making a dynamic balancer function in good conditions.
A slider 4 is provided in the lower position of a cam 3 on an input shaft 2 and a sliding block 17 and a balance weight 19 are provided in the upper position of the cam 3. A first cam follower 6 which is rotatably supported with the slider 4 is abutted on the bottom face of the cam 3 and the abutting state is maintained by being energized with a spring member 11. A second cam follower 18 which is rotatably supported with a sliding block 17 is abutted on the top face of the cam 3 and the abutting state is maintained by being energized with spring members 22a, 22b. When the cam 3 is rotated integrally with the input shaft 2, the slider 4 is vertically moved via the first cam follower 6, and the sliding block 17 and the balance weight 19 are vertically slid in the direction opposite to the slider 4 via the second cam follower 18.
