Abstract:
To provide a mechanical throttle device capable of being mounted on a motorcycle without limiting capacity of a fuel tank.SOLUTION: A mechanical throttle device 10 comprises: a throttle body 12 having an air intake passage 22 and a throttle valve 24 to adjust an opening of the air intake passage 22; and an auxiliary device 14 which has a fuel injection unit 16 mounted on the throttle body 12 to inject fuel into intake air passing through the air intake passage 22 and a bypass mechanism 18 connected to the air intake passage 22 to bypass the throttle valve 24. In the mechanical throttle device, the auxiliary device 14 is arranged below the throttle body 12. Also, an axis A of a downstream side flow passage 18b connected to the air intake passage 22 and an axis B of the fuel injection unit 16 are downwardly inclined with respect to a horizontal plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
