To provide an attaching/detaching mechanism of coupling means which can surely and detachably mount an appliance to be installed inside of a catch basin and the like and gives high sealability against the appliance when being mounted.
There is provided an attaching/detaching mechanism of coupling means for connecting an appliance to be installed inside of a catch basin and the like with an external drain pipe so as to give the fluid communication therebetween. In the attaching/detaching mechanism, one component to be connected is provided with an engagement protrusion, while the other component to be connected is provided with a special guide groove which engages with and guides the engagement protrusion so that the component moving with respect to an O-ring presses the O-ring by a predetermined movement. Thus, sure and detachable mounting is possible and a high sealability is obtained when mounting the attaching/detaching mechanism.
