Title:
MECHANISM FOR CONTROLLING ASCENT AND DESCENT OF TEE IN AUTOMATIC TEE-UP DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01250278
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an automatic tee-up device with few erroneous operation by providing a tee lift body provided with a switch for sensing a position of descending tee by the weight of a ball mounted on the tee and a switch for sensing the descent of the ball to a position in which the lift body can supply the ball onto the tee.

CONSTITUTION: When a lift body 5 descends, it abuts against a limit switch 9, by the command of which is stopped the descent of the limit body 5. Since this stop position is previously set to a position on which the upper end of a tee 2 is located in a ball delivery path 8, a ball B is simultaneously supplied from the delivery path 8 onto the tee 2 which is lowered to the position of a tee holding plate 15 by the weight of the ball B on the tee 2. Simultaneously a lower strut section 14 is also lowered and when it approaches the side of an approach switch 12, said switch 12 reacts. When the ascending command of tee 2 is given from the approach switch 12 to a lift mechanism, and the ball B is placed on the tee 2, then the tee 2 is lifted toward a shot seat.
