Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing bird damage on an outdoor parabola antenna for receiving satellite broadcasting.
SOLUTION: Plural supporters 1 are vertically attached to the edge 2 of a main reflection mirror of e.g. an antenna device. Two or more thin wires 3 are extended between the supporters 1. The perching of birds of various sizes on the edge 2 of the main reflection mirror can be prevented by this structure. In the case of tilting the antenna device in the direction of elevation angle, supporters directing various directions are attached to the side face of the main reflection mirror 2 to direct some supporters in vertical direction at the stopped position of the antenna device. The perching of a bird on the edge 2 of the main reflection mirror of the antenna device can be prevented even if the antenna is tilted in the direction of elevation angle.
