Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original mechanism for preventing the neglect of mounting of an inner lid to be mounted to the base surface of the lid of a rice cooker provided with the freely openable and closable lid which can be locked in a closed state by a locking mechanism on the top surface of a rice cooker body internally housing a pan.
SOLUTION: The lid 3 is internally provided with a hook rod 5 which partly projects downward and may be engaged with part of the rice cooker body 1 and a hook retainer 6 which presses part of the hook rod 5 and turns the rod in a direction not engaged with the rice cooker body and maintains the rod in a normally open position in the state of not mounting the inner lid. On the other hand, a projection 7 is kept projected upward at the inner lid 4 to be mounted to the lid 3. When the inner lid is mounted, the projection 7 pushes up part of the hook retainer 6 to release the thrusting of the hook rod 5 by the hook retainer 6 and the free locking of the lid by the hook rod 5 is made possible.
