PURPOSE: To prevent completely such a trouble as the shortage of thrust of a push- and-draw device caused by the accumulation of incineration ash and the like by adopting as a reciprocating mechanism a rolling mechanism having little friction resistance and by providing, in addition, a roller on a fixing-supporting stand.
CONSTITUTION: By the pushing and drawing operation of a cylinder, a movable beam 14 is made to conduct reciprocating motions in the direction along the lower surface 15A of a plate. On this occasion, the incineration ash does not accmulate on the surface of a reversing roller 10 since the upper part of the roller 10 is coverd with the plate 15 and, even if it accumulates, it slips down on the surface of the roller. Therefore, the amount of abrasion of the plate 15 or a freely-rotating roller 10 can be reduced to the minimum and no load caused by the ash is given to the thrust of the cylinder 7.
