Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a change shift lever for a vehicle with a locking member to be moved to a locking/unlocking position in the straight, opposite direction.
SOLUTION: To bind or move a locking member 24 in response to the attractive or repulsive force of an electromagnet 45, a mechanically advantageous device, preferably a toggle joint 32, is connected to one end of the locking member 24. The locking member 24 is held at a locking position by one attractive or drawable force of magnetism and the locking member 24 is moved to an unlocking position by the other attractive or drawable force of magnetism.
