To provide a medal throwing device with an overflow chute, smoothly and surely dropping medals to a collection box to discharge it.
The medal throwing device is provided with: a tray which supplies the medals stored in a storage space surrounded by wall parts to a rotary disc rotatably supported on a base plate arranged in a lower part; and the overflow chute 40 having an inclined bottom which guides the medals stored in the storage space beyond a reference to a discharge port formed in the wall parts of the storage space to discharged the medals to the outside. A medal pressing wall 42 extended upward on the downstream side close to the discharge port, and an arc-shaped induction part 44 which continues from the medal pressing wall to an upstream end on the upstream side, are formed on the side end of the inclined bottom that the overflow chute has.
