To quickly and surely detect insertion of an illegal tool into a medal passage for preventing illicit operation.

When a plastic sheet as the illegal tool is moved in the upward extraction direction in a vertical part 307 of the medal passage 306, a switch operation part 346 of a two-direction detection switch 343 is brought into contact with the plastic sheet with a proper pressure by force of springs 355a and 355b to be tilted down in the R2 direction in the figure by frictional force. Then, a main control board of a slot machine confirms that the movement direction of an object moving through the medal passage 306 is directed to the inlet side, controls a subcontrol board to make a speaker output an alert, and at the same time, transmits data showing illicit operation to a hall computer. That is, insertion of the illegal tool into the medal passage can be detected quickly and surely.
