To provide a medal payout device which can speedily remove foreign matter without falling a medal even if a drum is jammed with the foreign matter to become a locked state and greatly shorten its maintenance time.
This device comprises a device body 21 which has a metal payout disk 22 arranged rotatably on its top surface and a hopper 30 which has a metal throw-in opening at an upper part and a metal discharge opening 33 at a lower part and is so arranged that the metal discharge opening 33 engages the disk 22. Then the hopper 30 is supported on the top surface of the device body 21 turnably through hinges and a couple of opposite medal guard parts 34 and 34 are extended to the opening edge part of the medal discharge opening 33 of the hopper 30.
