Abstract:
To provide a medium transfer device that addresses reduction in transfer burden and damage on post-recording medium being transferred on an inversion route and also addresses restriction of upsizing of the device, and a recording device equipped therewith.SOLUTION: A medium transfer device 5 provided in a printer 1 includes: a curvature route 20 where post-recording paper is reversed in a curved manner; a plurality of first ribs 30 that are extended in a medium transfer direction in a recording area facing a recording head 15, are provided at intervals in a width direction intersecting the medium transfer direction, and form cockling on the paper; a plurality of second ribs 33 that are provided at an outside curvature part 20a of the curvature route 20; and a plurality of third ribs 34 that are provided at an inside curvature part 20b of the curvature route 20. The plurality of second ribs 33 and the plurality of third ribs 34 are provided at positions corresponding to a mountain part T and a valley part V of the cockling of the paper formed by the plurality of first ribs 30 in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
