To provide a medical bed system whose operational stability can be enhanced, whose external appearance quality can be boosted and whose quality of design can be improved.

A cover means has several cover units. A space including a lifting and lowering mechanism is covered from the exterior by arranging the several cover units so that they may be horizontally arranged at regular intervals. Each of interlock means has several pantograph mechanisms which are arranged so that the distance between ones vertically neighboring each other may be equal. The uppermost pantograph mechanisms are connected with a top board. The lowermost pantograph mechanisms are connected with a base. Further, ends of adjacent pantograph mechanisms are bonded to each other so that the distance changing in conjunction with lifting and lowering of the top board may be kept equal. Each of the cover units is connected with corresponding pantograph mechanisms so that distances between them may be kept equal when they move in conjunction with lifting and lowering of the top board.
