Abstract:
To provide a medical instrument dryer capable of, securely and in a short period of time, drying a medical instrument having a communication port on the instrument's external surface, the communication port communicating with an internal cavity.SOLUTION: A dryer includes a control unit that when a sub tank is filled with low-pressure air, controls first motor-operated valves to make all first motor-operated valves in a closed state become in an opened state and release the low-pressure air stored in the sub tank to make the low-pressure air be injected to a communication port on an instrument (S222). The injection of the low-pressure air is performed until a preset set time T1 (for example, T1=5 seconds) has passed (S223). When the set time T1 has passed, the first motor-operated valves are returned to the closed state. By repeating the steps, the low-pressure air is intermittently supplied to the communication port of the instrument.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
