Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical implement for attaching a suture to a bone useful in a minimally invasive arthroscopic surgical procedure.SOLUTION: A medical implement comprises: a hook 30 for inserting in a first bore in a bone; and a passageway 20a for placement at an entrance to a second bore in the bone. The hook comprises a grasper 35 extending therefrom, the grasper being adapted to grasp an end of a suture inserted in the second bore through the passageway.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2-3
