To provide a medical gas piping connection device which provides improved work efficiency by simplifying insertion/extraction operation of an attachment plug.
A gas supply socket 2 includes: a socket body 6 with a gas inflow port 4 and a gas ejection port 5; a valve element 7 which is provided in the socket body 6 in a repulsively biased condition along the axial line L direction of the ejection port 5 and which seals the ejection port 5 in the repulsively biased condition and, when force against the elasticity acts on the valve element, moves in a direction reverse to the repulsively biased direction and acts to open the gas ejection port 5; and a socket part 8 which is concentrically connected to the ejection port 5 in the axial line L direction thereof and enables the attachment plug 3 to be air-tightly inserted into the socket part. The socket part 8 and the attachment plug 3 include lock means to retain the inserted attachment plug 3 at two different positions along the axial line L direction.
