To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus the apparatus by which labor on an operator is reduced and image examination and diagnosis may be performed in a short time focusing on functions and advantages of a recently noticed PHD recording system.

An X-ray CT scanner is equipped with a rack 1, a bed 2, and a computer system 3. The computer system 3 includes a computer 11 to bear total control, an operation console 10 to perform processes designated by instruction of the computer 11, an image display device 14, a high speed operation device 6, and a recording device 16. The computer 11 preliminarily holds instruction performing algorithm 11a and image processing algorithm 11b in its memory. The computer 11 follows both of the algorithm to set an imaging condition from data in a storing medium 15 inserted into the recording device 16, output the control signal S1 to the rack or a bed control part 9, and make the image display device 14 display past data on the screen when reading the image.
