To easily observe temporal changes of a region of interest which is obtained by dynamic scanning.
The temporal changes of CT values of image data in an ROI set by an input device 40 to the 4D volume data of a prescribed site, which are continuously or intermittently obtained by injecting contrast media and stored in an image database 110, are converted into a strip-like grayscale image by a temporal-change image creation unit 150, and the strip-like grayscale image, with the ROI, is displayed in a display 30 along with a 2D image or an MPR image. The temporal changes in the state of the region of interest are displayed as a two-dimensional image to allow an intuitive understanding of the state, shorten a time required for the image reading, and remarkably reduce the burden of an interpretation doctor.
