To try to improve the efficiency of a diagnostic reading operation by automating a display operation at the time of the diagnostic reading.

A learning mode and an automatic mode are provided as diagnostic reading modes at a diagnostic reading terminal 40. At the time of the learning mode, an operation pattern showing an operation procedure is sampled from an operation record executed through an operation section 42 on a diagnostic reading screen which is displayed on a display section 43 to store in a trace pattern turntable 461, and when the number of the samples reaches the prescribed number, the recorded operation patterns are statistically collected and the operation pattern which is most frequently used is stored in a standard pattern turntable 462 as the standard pattern. Also at the time of the automatic mode, the diagnostic reading screen is switched and the display is executed automatically following the standard pattern.
