Abstract:
To generate an image suitable for observation.SOLUTION: A medical image processing device 26 comprises: a photographed image acquisition unit 261 which acquires a photographed image obtained by photographing a subject; a region of interest specification unit 262b which specifies a region of interest in the entire image region in the photographed image; and an index value adjustment unit 262c which adjusts a brightness index value being an index of brightness for each pixel in the photographed image in order to emphasize the region of interest in the entire image region with respect to other regions. The brightness index value is the index value used in the control of light emission luminance of each of light emission elements 321-32N respectively arranged in regions obtained by dividing a display screen in a display device 3 for displaying the photographed image into plural pieces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
