Abstract:
To disable the displaying of peripheral-side blood vessels that may produce obstacle shadows, without impairing the accuracy of blood vessel images.SOLUTION: A medical image processing apparatus 10 includes: an image data acquisition unit 11 for acquiring medical image data; a blood vessel path detection unit 12 for detecting blood vessel paths from the acquired medical image data; a creation condition setting unit 13 for accepting an input of a blood vessel image creation condition and setting the blood vessel image creation condition; a blood vessel image creation unit 14 for creating a blood vessel image from detected blood vessel paths. The blood vessel image creation unit 14 is configured to create a blood vessel image according to the set creation condition upon the setting of the creation condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
