Abstract:

To display detection result of abnormal shadow candidates only when a physician requires them as reference information to the diagnosis.

In a medical image processor 10, when image areas to be read are designated by a designation means 18 in the medical images displayed on a display means 17, it is determined whether the abnormal shadow candidates are actually detected or not in the designated areas by a display control means 16, and in the case the candidates are detected, the detected abnormal shadow candidates are displayed on the images of the designated areas so as to be identified.
