Abstract:
Dual syringe injector systems are disclosed. An injector system may include a housing, a first and a second drive member within the housing and operable to engage a plunger of a first and a second syringe, respectively, a first and a second syringe retaining mechanism associated with the housing and adapted to engage the first and second syringe, respectively, a pressure sensing device connected to the first and/or the second drive member and adapted to measure fluid pressure within a syringe when the syringe is engaged by a drive member, and a control system operably attached to the first and second drive members and the pressure sensor sensing device. The control system may be configured to individually control the first and second drive members simultaneously. The control system may be capable of causing sequential or simultaneous injection.
