To provide a medical instrument monitoring system capable of monitoring a medical instrument at all times at a remote place by utilizing weak radio waves so as not to affect the other medical instrument.
In this medical instrument monitoring system used at the time of applying an intravenous drip to a patient, a nurse station 6 and sickrooms 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d and 7e are installed as medical facilities. In the nurse station 6, a nurse 8a is in residence and a monitoring device 10 provided with a display part 9 is installed. In this sickrooms 7a and 7e, the medical instruments 11a and 11b are respectively installed. Further, cables are wired from the monitoring device 10 to the respective sickrooms and antennas 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d and 12e are attached to ceilings of respective sickrooms.
