Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument that can be deformed to an optimum shape by the application of external force when in use, and can be restored to an original form by the heating by an autoclave treatment, etc. after use.SOLUTION: In a medical instrument 1 having a functional part such as a cutter part 11 arranged at a leading end of a holder part 12 gripped by hand in a surgical operation, at least part of the functional part 11 is composed of a shape-memory alloy which returns to an original form (shape) when heated to a predetermined temperature.
