Abstract:

To provide scissors which does not fly even in a place in which a strong magnetic field is generated, such as a room where an MRI system is installed.

The medical scissors 1 includes a pair of scissor flaps 10 including a blade bodies 12 and grip parts 13, and a pivot body 11 for turnably connecting the pair of scissor flaps 10. The pair of scissor flaps 10 and the pivot body 11 are formed of a material showing non-magnetic or weak magnetic properties at normal temperature. The grip parts 13 and the pivot body 11 are formed of e.g. aluminum. The blade bodies 12 are formed of e.g. zirconia ceramics.
