Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical stand such as a gynecological chair 1 which hardly damages a patient's leg part such as a hip joint and has a simplified structure of a mechanism for making leg supporters in a closed leg state shift into an open leg state interlocking with shift of a back plate in a standing state into a reclined state.SOLUTION: A shaft supporting mechanism for rotatably fitting a base end part 7 of leg supporter supporting arms 14a, 14b to a back plate comprises: bearing parts 10a, 10b disposed on either one of the leg supporter supporting arms 14a, 14b and the back plate; and a shaft supporting part 15 which is disposed on the other of the leg supporter supporting arms 14a, 14b and the back plate and whose shaft is supported so as to be rotatable relatively to the bearing parts 10a, 10b. When the back plate in a back plate standing state is made to shift into a back plate reclined state, leg supporters 16a, 16b in a closed leg state can shift into an open leg state by rotating by their own weight.
