The medical treatment apparatus 100 also includes a recognition section 92 that identifies the patient from the patient's identification information on the basis of the presence signal, and a display control section 97 that displays clinical record information, corresponding to the patient identified by the recognition section 92, on a monitor 6. The display control section 97 stops displaying the clinical record information on the monitor 6 on the basis of the absence signal.
