Computers are respectively installed in medical facilities 1, a collecting and transporting company 10, an incineration plant 20a and a management center 40 to be provided in a medical waste treating company 80, and are connected to the Internet 70. When infectious medical waste is collected to a vessel 35 such as a plastic case, the medical facilities 1 records data of the infectious medical waste as an identification slip with a bar code label or an IC chip, and attaches the identification slip to the vessel 35. Each vessel is loaded on an exclusive basket vehicle 6. In the incineration plant 20a, the vessels with the infectious medical waste stored therein brought in by a vehicle 11 are kept in an automatic storehouse 24 by basket vehicle, and incinerated.
