Abstract:
PURPOSE: To place a bar code scanner in operation when the door 4 of the medicine storage box 1 containing medicine is opened and closed.
CONSTITUTION: The medicine storage box 1 consists of a main body 3 having storage chambers 2 whose fronts are open and which contain medicines, the door 4 which freely closes the front of the main body, and a detecting device which detects the opening/closing state of the door. The main body 3 is provided with the bar code scanner 8 which operates when the door 4 is open.
