To provide a medicine-releasing time-controlling type solid preparation having a so-called pulse type releasing characteristic, i.e., exhibiting a prescribed lag time until the initiation of release of the medicine after administering an oral carbapenem-based antibiotic agent as the medicine and releasing the medicine quickly, which is constant and does not depend on a pH of body liquid.
This medicine-releasing time-controlling type solid preparation consisting of an at least 2-layered structure in which a core layer containing the oral carbapenem-based antibiotic agent as the medicine is covered by an outer layer not containing the medicine is characterized by containing a hydrophobic material, (A) a low viscosity hydroxypropylcellulose and/or (B) a high viscosity hydroxypropylcellulose as outer layer components and controlling the releasing time of the medicine by making the blending ratio of the (A)/(B) as (10/0)-(0/10). As the hydrophobic material in the outer layer components, a microcrystalline cellulose is used.
