PURPOSE: To provide a medicine sorting system suitable for collating made up medicines with a prescription and inspecting the same in patient units by providing the system with plural sorting means for receiving made up medicines in patient's medicine units in a pharmacy.

CONSTITUTION: When the content of prescription is sequentially input with an identification symbol of a patient by an input console 11, a read/write head 17i writes the identification symbol in a data carrier 16 of a bucket 14. Medicine-making up devices 1a, 1b execute necessary making up operation, and the made up medicines are temporarily stocked with an identification symbol in stock devices 2a, 2b. Read/write heads 17a, 17b read identification symbols written in the data carrier 16, and if made up medicines with the same identification symbols as the read identification symbols are stored in compartments 7a, 7b of stuck conveyers 6a, 6b, the made up medicines are brought to the take-out position to be put into the bucket 14.
