Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium arrangement device capable of improving treatment efficiency.SOLUTION: A medium arrangement device includes: a discrimination unit configured to discriminate media to be put in; a plurality of accumulation units configured to accumulate the media discriminated by the discrimination unit; a control unit configured to allocate kinds of the media accumulated by the accumulation units; and a conveyance unit configured to convey the media discharged from the discrimination unit to each accumulation unit; and a detection unit configured to detect the conveyance states of the media at the conveyance unit. The medium arrangement device causes the control unit to: accumulate abnormal media from which conveyance abnormality is detected based on a detection result of the detection unit, to abnormal medium accumulation units configured to accumulate the abnormal media among the plurality of accumulation units; and accumulate normal media from which conveyance abnormality is not detected based on the detection result of the detection unit, to the accumulation units other than the abnormal media accumulation units.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
