Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease the deformation quantity of an optical disk medium and to assure the reliability of information by making it possible to drastically decrease the force acting on the optical disk medium at the time of attaching and detaching.
CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic solenoid 7 is provided in the position corresponding to a spindle hub 3 of a cassette holder 10 carrying and transporting a cartridge case 1 housing the optical disk medium 2. Current is supplied to the electromagnetic solenoid 7 to generate the force in the direction opposite to the direction of the force that a permanent magnet 5 attracts the spindle hub 3 at the time of attaching and detaching the optical disk medium 2 to and from the spindle hub 3.
