CONSTITUTION: This media basket mill 10 has the basket 60 which contains the media bed 74 of respectively separate media elements 76 and is immersed into the batch of the components and the liquid vehicle within a mixing vessel 12. A first impeller 150 which generates a first pressure differential adjacent to the first end of the basket is disposed so as to move the mixture through the basket and the media bed in the basket along a circulation path. Further, a second impeller 160 which generates a second pressure differential adjacent to the second end of the basket is disposed to increase the flow rate of the mixture and to prevent the escape of the media elements from the basket through its second end.
