Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium carrying device preventing a carrying fault of a medium by obtaining deformation data of the medium to become a main cause of a carrying fault at the time of receiving the medium so as to predict the generation of the carrying fault.
SOLUTION: This magnetic card processor 11 is provided with a card carrying passage 15 insert-holding and carrying a magnetic card 14 inside of a device main body 12, which communicates with a card insertion port 13 which opens at the front surface of the main body 12, and a magnetic data processing part 16 to be magnetically read and written on this passage 15. At the inner passage 15, plural pairs of insert-hold-carrying rollers R... and plural card detecting sensors S... vertically opposed along a carrying direction to drive forward or backward each roller R... based on the driving of a carrying motor M. Thus, the card 14 inserted to the port 13 is taken to inside, guided to the part 16 and given magnetic data processing here. On the other hand, a magnetic card of magnetic abnormality or deformation is returned by sending back.
