Abstract:
To provide means which performs cutting without curving a cutting surface by a medium cutting device such as a rotary cutter in order to solve such problems for the conventional medium cutting device which performs cutting by the rotary cutter while conveying a roll-shaped receipt sheet that the cutting surface by the rotary cutter might be curved when the thickness of the roll sheet is changed, and thus the conveyance failure and the appearance failure of a cutting end might occur.SOLUTION: In a medium cutting device which performs cutting by a cutter part while conveying a medium, at least one of the conveyance speed of the medium and the cutting speed by the cutter part is changed in accordance with the thickness of the medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
