Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a delivering and carrying mechanism by providing a medium carrier having a delivering means moved to a medium housing section for delivering a medium and a holding means for holding the delivered medium and making the medium carrier movable.
SOLUTION: Passbook cassettes 11a to 11j are provided side by side in the vertical direction of a device. A belt 26 having fixed passbook certificate carrier 27 is wrapped around the upper and lower pulleys 24 and 25 of a strut 23 and vertical movement is made possible by the movement of the belt 26 by a driving mechanism 28. Now, in order to position the passbook certificate carrier 27 in the target passbook cassette 11, the belt 26 is moved. A swing bracket having a delivery roller 79 is swung via the pulse motor and a gear group of the passbook certificate carrier 27, the delivery roller 79 is contacted by pressure with a first passbook 14b in the passbook cassette 11b and, by its rotation, the passbook 14b is delivered upward. The passbook 14b is then taken into the carrier 27 via each roller and each guide, the passbook certificate carrier 27 is moved upward and sent out to a page turning section.
