Abstract:
To provide a medium discharge device for improving discharge efficiency of mediums and easily managing the discharged medium.SOLUTION: A paper discharge device 1 (one example of a medium discharge device) comprises: a first paper loading part 10 (one example of a first medium loading part) which is loaded with paper sheets P (one example of a medium) and conveys a paper bundle PB (one example of a medium bundle) being the plurality of loaded paper sheets P; a second paper loading part 20 (one example of a second medium loading part) on which the paper sheets P are loaded; a discharge route switching part 31; and a control part 51 for performing control so that a discharge route is switched to the second paper loading part 20 by the discharge route switching part 31 when the paper bundle PB is conveyed by the first paper loading part 10. The second paper loading part 20 includes a movable end fence 22 and an offset guide 23 (one example of partition means) for performing offset operation (one example of partitioning operation) for partitioning the loaded paper sheets P based on the switching control of the discharge route by the control part 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
