CONSTITUTION: On substrate 1 of plastics, resist film 2 and metal film layer 3 covering layer 2 are provided. When energy beams modulated in accordance with information to be recorded is caused to strike only a certain part where the intensity of its center part is high is selectively passed through layer 3 and a bit of smaller diameter than the width of the energy beam is formed on layer 2. Then layer 3 may be eliminated.
